Attendance
We are committed to ensuring that all students benefit from the opportunities available at Little Stoke Primary School. Our expectation is that students arrive on time and attend regularly; we will actively promote this ethos throughout the school community and encourage our students to achieve this.
Good attendance is essential for every child’s learning, wellbeing and long‑term success. At our school, 98% attendance is considered excellent, and 96% is the minimum target for all pupils. Missing school can affect children in many ways—academically, socially and emotionally—making it harder for them to keep up with learning, maintain friendships and build confidence. We work closely with families to support strong attendance habits so every child can reach their full potential. For guidance on deciding whether your child is too unwell for school, please visit the NHS page:

Parents/Carers are expected to contact the school on the first day of absence (01454866522) and each day thereafter informing the school of the reason for absence and the expected date of return to school.
